Welcome!

On March 9, 2010, Philippine Social Justice Foundation, Inc. was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission. It was organized by a group of law professors from various law schools and civic-minded individuals who share a common ideology of bridging our people through proper information when and where our government and holders of powers escaped to mind. As its name suggests, it will carry the torch of that long time disregarded reality of social justice in our society.

As part of its mission and vision, the foundation decided to publish the Philippine Local Government Reports to bring the message of social justice to all Filipinos, through the grassroots leaders of our country.  After all, a right or privilege is always said to be coupled with an obligation and the bedrock of all expectations is that our local government units should be the frontrunners in delivering basic social services to our people, which in itself is promotion of social justice. Indeed, the general welfare provision of the Local Government Code mandates as a duty for LGUs to promote economic prosperity and enhance social justice.
